It is planted directly beneath a Japanese maple so it gets only filtered sunlight, but it’s in an open area that is fairly bright. As I recall there are three or four flowers per stem, and until it was accidently pruned there were only a few stems in the spring. With a more compact plant after pruning I’m looking forward to more flowers next spring.

I have fenced off the rabbits and it’s growing, had one bloom this spring.
I thought it was a mostly shade plant. How many hours of sun does yours get and how many blooms do you get?
